Reflection: Do not be afraid of commitments
Commitment. Commitment is a word that today many people are afraid to live up to. There are people afraid of commitment when it comes to work responsibility, or to study to achieve good results at school or university. Other people might feel not capable of committing themselves when approached to organize some sort of activity.
There could be different reasons why people feel afraid of commitments. Maybe, afraid to believe in their abilities, afraid of failure, afraid of not having enough time to be committed. and not wanting to be disappointed in life.
When you feel disheartened to be committed to something particular, such as being married, or visiting a person in need, I encourage you to remember about when Jesus died on the cross. Jesus made a big commitment by dying on the cross, as He was loving all humanity, including yourself.
To be committed is to love endlessly, to love unconditionally, is to trust in Him.
Do not be afraid of commitment, as He will give you the grace for it.

Reflection: All I want for Christmas is... Peace
Once again it is Christmas time and many people are doing their Christmas shopping. There are different gifts one can buy for their loved ones. These gifts can be expensive, or of a cheap price, large or small, gifts that can reflect the need of the person or just a way to pamper the person.
What would you like to receive for Christmas as a gift? A laptop, a mobile phone, a dress, a new car? For me, I only want one kind of gift this Christmas.
All I want for Christmas is... Peace. I would want to meet with people of a different faith from mine, to exchange peace with each other and to live in peace with one another. Imagine living in peace! How different the world would be! Imagine being at peace with your neighbour. This is possible if we put our differences aside, forgiving each other making way for the love of God in our midst.
So, Happy Christmas to all, go and make peace with all, so the world may see the love of the new born Jesus in the world.

Have faith, keep praying together, so it will be done by the Father in heaven.

Reflection: Pray for the person who hurts you
For sure, everyone has an experience of being hurt by another person. It is not a pleasant situation to go through.
When I go through such a situation in my life, I find comfort and peace when I pray for the person who has hurt me in some way or another. It is a situation in my life when I am not to judge, but to forgive.
I pray to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, that I may be filled with grace to make peace with the other person. In my heart I pray for the other person who has hurt me, so that the other person receives God’s love.
Praying for the person that has hurt you, makes you an instrument of love and peace in the world.
